iAltA Holdings launched with $20M in initial funding led by WestCap to modernize private markets infrastructure. The company introduced its first platform, iAltA Private Markets, designed to help general partners execute transactions and cash movements, engage investors, streamline fund operations, and enable data-driven decisions. iAltA acquired Verivend, a transaction-ready investor portal with payments technology, and Betterfront, a fundraising platform with track record analytics, to form the foundation of its platform. The founding team—Laurence A. Tosi (board member), Scott Ganeles (CEO) and Bill Sherman (President)—brings decades of experience building market-standard private markets businesses, including Ipreo and iLEVEL. iAltA plans to establish multiple subsidiaries by acquiring technology companies, retooling and integrating products, and accelerating innovation through strategic partnerships. WestCap is both the lead investor and an active partner, serving as incubator, product-design and development partner, and client to the platform.
