iATROS has developed a telemedicine platform that enables data-driven treatment of cardiology patients through a continuous, app-based doctor–patient communication channel and digital health plans. The solution supports manufacturer-independent use of mobile health sensors and smart wearables to continuously monitor and record patient data. AI-based diagnostics, medication regimen support and automated alarms assist clinicians in patient management. The app guides patients, reminds them to take measurements or medications, and enables 24/7 contact with a telecardiologist in emergencies. The company plans to use the new funds to expand its staff and further develop its software. iATROS was founded in 2019 by cardiology specialists Prof. Dr. med. Alexander Leber and Dr. med. Georges von Degenfeld, together with Patrick Palacin, Prof. Wolfram Winter and Jens Schäfer.
