iBuildApp provides a free builder that lets anyone create iPhone and Android apps without programming, with tools to add text, RSS feeds, images, audio and video and industry-specific templates. The platform offers pre-made templates for sectors including banks, universities, restaurants, schools and churches. It reports more than 600,000 registered accounts and says 700,000 mobile applications have been created to date. The company employs 22 people and doubled revenue in 2013 to $400K, targeting $1.6M in the near term and $10M by 2015. iBuildApp's customer list includes Liverpool Football Club, Nielsen Media, Texas police, UCLA, Suffolk and Emory Universities, and Sberbank. Founded in 2010 by Rafael Soultanov, the company plans to use new funding for product development and expansion into Latin America.
