IC Real Tech develops fully-spherical 360 x 360 degree cameras (IC720 and the portable ALLie) and a proprietary viewing app that deliver immersive, floor-to-ceiling VR experiences for enterprise and consumer use. The IC720 targets professional security and surveillance by providing fields-of-view that previously required multiple cameras, while the ALLie is positioned for in-home monitoring and mobile creation/sharing of immersive action videos. The company has been a leader in video surveillance innovation for nearly a decade, with installations at over 100,000 customer sites across more than 10 countries and strategic relationships with firms including Verizon, Qualcomm and Motorola Solutions. Its spherical technology—conceptualized and contributed to in part by shareholder 360 Lab—has won awards at events such as ICES and ISC West and received media coverage from outlets including TechCrunch and Reuters; it has also been endorsed by YouTube for its 360 initiative. The announced $15 million financing will fund marketing and product development and support a rapid ramp-up and product launches into professional and consumer channels within the next few months. The funding round was arranged by the private placement group of Raymond James.
