Icebrg.io is a Seattle, WA-based network security company founded by CEO William Peteroy and CTO Josh Carlson. The company develops a network security platform that it has already deployed in Fortune 200 companies targeted by professional hackers. Icebrg.io is using the funds from the seed financing to continue to develop the platform. On April 12, 2014, it raised $2.5m in seed financing led by Madrona Venture Group. Formation 8 and other individual and institutional investors also participated in the round. As part of the financing, David Rosenthal, Principal at Madrona Venture Group, joined Icebrg.io’s board.
