It has positioned itself in lower-competition domains such as fleet insurance management, credit and liability insurance, and start-up insurance, and has diversified into healthcare insurance via 121Policy. In 2016 the company struck a structured deal with technology incubator Xelpmoc to build and maintain the technology infrastructure for 121Policy. The company raised $1 million in a seed round and will use the capital primarily to build operations and backend infrastructure and to fund marketing initiatives.
