Identified Technologies offers a fully autonomous quadcopter and base-station system that maps job sites (construction, oil fields, etc.) and produces topographical maps far faster than traditional aerial methods. The drone supports hot-swappable batteries and returns to a roosting base station when finished, enabling continuous operation. The company says its turnkey system can map a site and complete processing in about six hours versus months for traditional approaches. Identified Technologies is already profitable and has a number of contracts in Pennsylvania, with a heavy commercial focus on the Marcellus Shale region. Management reports consistent month-over-month growth and is forecasting 10x growth in deployments and revenue over the course of the year.
