IdleAir provides long-haul truck drivers a solution that creates a clean, quiet environment to rest by allowing drivers to turn off diesel engines and APUs. Led by CEO Ethan Garber, the system supplies heat, cooling, and standard electric both inside and outside the cab. It also offers satellite TV, internet, and other comforts of home without the noise, vibration, and exhaust fumes from idling. The company is based in Knoxville, Tennessee. IdleAir raised $3M in a second round of funding from existing investor Bledsoe Capital Group, which will help the company continue to expand nationwide.
