Founded four years ago, Igonogo has built a SaaS platform that combines proprietary technology, neuroscience research and artificial intelligence to interpret users’ emotional reactions based on how their fingers move on a smartphone screen. Brands use the service to conduct rapid, emotion-aware market studies, and the company reports having already completed more than 2,000 studies for a roster of 50 clients. Igonogo currently employs about 20 people but plans to double headcount to roughly 40 within the next year, supported by the latest capital infusion. Co-founders Candice François (a neuroscience researcher) and Florian Loeser will now focus respectively on go-to-market strategy and product innovation while the firm recruits seasoned executives to guide its anticipated hyper-growth. The fresh funds also position the startup to enhance its core technology and broaden its commercial footprint. No revenue figures were disclosed, but the company’s traction in completed studies and client count underscore early market adoption.
