iKnowl is the Karachi-based parent company of Artsly, an educational content discovery platform offering arts and crafts video lessons. Artsly is a community of artists and learners with video-based lessons across photography, dancing, music, makeup, painting, food decoration and other categories. The service was initially available and optimized for iPad. According to TNW, a web-based version was scheduled to launch in July, with iPhone support and an Android tablet app planned for August. The company is led by brothers Huzaifa Muhammad (CEO) and Jehanzaib Muhammad (CTO). Artsly raised $175k from Kima Ventures.
