Immunovant is advancing IMVT-1401, a novel fully human anti‑FcRn monoclonal antibody designed for subcutaneous delivery to treat autoimmune diseases driven by pathogenic IgG. The antibody targets the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) to reduce circulating IgG and albumin. The company plans to initiate a pivotal trial in myasthenia gravis, resume mid‑stage studies in warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (WAIHA) and thyroid eye disease (TED), and move at least two additional programs into clinical studies, including another pivotal trial in 2022. Management states the funds will expedite development across these indications. Following the announced transaction Immunovant has a pro forma cash balance of approximately $600 million. Roivant increased its ownership stake as part of this financing.
