imoji offers a mobile app that enables users to take any picture and convert it into a shareable emoji or sticker. The company is led by Jason Stein and is based in San Francisco. Since launching on July 24th, users have created over 1.5 million imojis, which have been shared in iMessage conversations and across social networks. Alongside its recent financing, imoji released an update that expands sharing beyond iMessage to WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, Facebook Messenger, Twitter and Instagram, and added the ability to share entire cards or collections via a unique URL. The company plans to develop for additional platforms in the future and the app is available for free on the App Store.
