Imperative Execution is a Stamford, CT-based financial technology company that created a trading venue for institutional investors. Led by founder and CEO Roman Ginis, the company provides IntelligentCross, a broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System (ATS) that uses artificial intelligence to optimize order matching and reduce market impact. IntelligentCross was launched in September and is currently accessible through major electronic execution providers. Imperative Execution completed a $9M Series A financing in April 2018. The company said it will use the funds to grow IntelligentCross. The Series A followed a $5M, five-investor seed round in 2017.
