SeeSpace's core product is InAIR, a device that plugs into a television via a "smart" HDMI cable and connects to a set-top box. The device pulls data from the currently playing program, parses it using natural language processing and other patented technologies, and displays related content from the web and social media on the TV screen. Users interact with InAIR through a mobile app or via gesture control by incorporating the Microsoft Kinect, offering a Minority Report–style interaction possibility. InAIR is set to cost $99. The product attracted crowdfunding attention, raising more than $158,000 against an original $100,000 goal on Kickstarter with less than 42 hours remaining at the time of reporting.
