Incomlend operates an invoice trading platform that connects exporters, importers and investors to provide early payment and working capital. The platform employs AI-powered underwriting technology to enable exporters to receive early payment and help importers minimize supply-chain disruption and set favorable payment terms. Investors on the platform gain access to an alternative asset class offering shorter-duration returns. The company says traditional banks have pulled back from financing such deals, contributing to a $1.5 trillion trade finance gap that hits mid-cap firms and SMEs. Incomlend has facilitated more than $330 million in financing and covered invoice trades across 50 countries to date. It plans to use fresh capital to expand into Europe, Southeast Asia and North Asia and to bulk up its technology stack.
