IndexZoo is a Boston-based provider of a decentralized crypto asset index protocol and a DeFi multi-chain ecosystem of tokenized indices. Led by CEO Marshall Chang, its core product is the Habitat Index Protocol. The company plans to deploy Habitat to multiple EVM-compatible Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchains to establish a multi-chain index standard. IndexZoo has received grants from NEAR, Polygon, Avalanche and others to support development. It closed a $2M Seed funding round to expand operations and development efforts. Backers include CMS Holdings, Warburg Serres, DefinanceX, Pragma Ventures, 0xVentures, BigBrainHoldings and angel investors such as Nick Tong and Yenwen Feng.
