Indkal Technologies is a Bengaluru consumer-electronics company known for developing televisions, interactive displays, and home appliances. It first entered the market by licensing Acer’s trademark for televisions and later for washing machines designed in-house for Indian households. The firm now operates its own premium Wobble Displays brand, recently launching the Maximus series featuring screens up to 116.5 inches as well as 98-inch and 86-inch large-format models. Proceeds from its latest funding will support research and development, expansion of sales and service networks, introduction of new display categories, and bolstering after-sales infrastructure and marketing. Indkal is also preparing to enter the smartphone segment with two 5G devices conceptualised and engineered in India. To amplify visibility, the company continues its association with actor Ayushmann Khurrana as brand ambassador for Wobble Displays. Including the latest raise, Indkal has secured at least $56 million to date, although no revenue or user figures have been disclosed.
