Indra develops bidirectional EV charging technology that lets drivers charge from low-carbon renewable energy and use surplus battery energy to power homes or sell back to the grid. The company supplies full-service home charging solutions, including work for Mobilize Power Solutions (part of the Renault Group) and ElectriX from LV= General Insurance, and has a supply partnership for its Smart PRO with Plug Me In. Led by CEO Adrian Moores and CTO Mike Schooling, Indra focuses on both hardware and an integrated technology platform for home charging. The company raised over £20M in a Series B round to support its growth. Indra plans to use the funds to expand development of its bidirectional charging technology, grow its customer base, increase revenue streams in the UK and internationally, and accelerate development of its home EV charging hardware and platform.
