Inespay offers a PSD2-based bank transfer initiation service that redirects e-commerce customers to their bank to authorize instant transfers using their usual online-banking credentials. The company transacts hundreds of thousands of payments annually for a volume exceeding €600 million and serves customers such as Decathlon, PC Componentes and Carrefour Viajes. Founded in Valencia by Víctor Pardo (CEO) and Carlos Castellanos (COO), Inespay was the first payment-initiation entity authorized by the Bank of Spain in February 2020. The product transmits payment details to banks and communicates payment success to merchants in real time, positioning bank transfer as an alternative to cards and PayPal. Proceeds from the fundraise are intended to expand the team, enter additional countries (notably Spain and Portugal) and develop new value-added services. Management expects to double the company’s transaction volume in 2023 as part of its growth plan.
