Infrascale has built a cloud-native platform that delivers backup, disaster recovery, archive and collaboration capabilities. Led by founder and CEO Ken Shaw Jr., the company sells its solution primarily through independent cloud service companies, VARs and MSPs. The platform powers over 1,000 such partners, reflecting its channel-focused distribution. In May 2014 the company raised $16.3M in a Series B financing to support growth. Infrascale intends to use the funds to grow and accelerate its go-to-market strategy and to expand its product line. As part of that product expansion the company is pursuing a strategic acquisition of Eversync Solutions to extend compatibility to the most widely used operating systems.
