InishTech provides software protection and licensing services that allow software companies to protect their code and increase product sales through licensing. The company is built on Microsoft technology under the Microsoft IP Ventures program in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland. Microsoft says it has taken a “significant” minority stake in InishTech. InishTech secured a €1.8m syndicated investment led by the Bank of Ireland’s Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund. The round included €650k from the Bank of Ireland Seed Fund, €400k from Enterprise Ireland, €275k from the Halo Business Angel Network (HBAN) and the remainder from the company founders. The financing strengthens the company’s capital base alongside strategic backing from Microsoft and public stakeholders.
