Overview
Yuntian Lifei (also known as Intellifusion), founded in 2014 and based in Shenzhen, develops AI-powered surveillance and analytics systems. Its core products include the Arctern algorithm platform for face and gesture recognition, the in-house DeepEye 1000 chip, and the Matrix big-data platform that collects city-level data. The company supplies police stations, traffic management authorities, airports, and industrial parks, operating in more than 100 Chinese cities, and also offers retail insights for supermarkets and shopping malls by analysing visitors’ faces, body shapes, movements, and clothing. Yuntian says its technology has helped police locate more than 300 missing children and elderly people. Financially, the company recently received state funding and earlier closed a large pre-IPO round, positioning it amid broader domestic bets on AI and chipmaking.
