Ipsum offers a web and mobile collaborative platform, Proplanner, designed to improve coordination and planning among the different actors in construction projects. Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Franco Giaquinto, the company operates across Latin America with presence in Peru, Argentina, Chile and Paraguay and customers such as Ingevec, Echeverría Izquierdo, Flesan, Graña y Montero and Caputo. By the end of 2017 Ipsum grew from three initial clients to a portfolio of more than thirty clients, commercializing Proplanner in five countries and running on 80 construction sites in parallel. The company was recognized by CB Insights as one of 100 platforms revolutionizing the construction industry globally. Ipsum plans to use new funding to continue internationalization and to introduce improvements to its software. Prior investors include Telefónica Open Future and Wayra, which invested in 2016.
