IPTEGO is a Berlin-based supplier of Next Generation Network (NGN) optimization software. Its flagship PALLADION Software Suite provides real-time network intelligence, troubleshooting, customer experience monitoring, and smooth integration of third-party products. The suite analyzes NGNs from any vendor to make the customer experience measurable and supports operators migrating to IP-based networks while reducing operational costs. The software works with any NGN deployment operated by mobile and fixed-line carriers worldwide. The company intends to use the new capital to further accelerate growth in the United States and into Asia. IPTEGO received an undisclosed equity financing from Intel Capital as a second closing of its first institutional round led by XAnge Private Equity. IPTEGO develops VoIP solutions centered on its flagship software, PALLADION, which helps network operations personnel detect and solve SIP-based network problems. The company was created in 2006 by Alex Hoffmann and Ulrich Abend and is based in Berlin, Germany. IPTEGO partners with mobile and fixed-line telecom operators and internet service providers across the USA, Europe and Asia. To develop new market opportunities it has signed reseller and partnership agreements with HP, Acme Packet and IBM. The recent capital infusion is intended to fund hiring of new sales professionals and continued expansion into new markets.
