Chongqing iQIYI Intelligence Technology, incubated and operated by iQIYI Inc., combines creative talent with technology to deliver original and aggregated online entertainment content. The company has released the Qiyu VR headsets and launched the VR-driven iQIYI Ultimate Theatres (iQUT). It has produced VR games (including Chinese Paladin: Sword and Fairy 4), VR chair content (Tuktak-Man VR, Last One Standing VR) and VR KTV (The Big Band VR). iQIYI Intelligence has partnered with Baidu and 7Invensun to deploy VR applications in education, medical and other industries, and worked with China’s three major telecom operators to explore VR/AR opportunities. Led by CEO Xiong Wen, the company is focused on expanding its application ecosystem and launching new offerings. It plans to use recent funding to support technological product R&D, ecosystem development and marketing to consolidate its content, technology and user base.
