Irrive provides automatically created virtual scrapbooks by aggregating content from networks like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Foursquare and Flickr, and by allowing manual uploads. Books are centered on life events (vacations, weddings, holidays) and can be private, shared with invited viewers, or visible to Facebook friends who may also collaborate. Users can set up scrapbooks in advance and have them populate automatically as they post; the product will also let users search friends' shares (for example, to find travel suggestions). Mobile apps are forthcoming and the site launched into a small private beta in May after work began the prior summer. The company is currently free to use and plans to monetize through premium features; it is also considering offering automatically created videos via Animoto and printed scrapbooks in the future. Irrive was founded by Steven Cohn, who previously sold BuyYourFriendADrink to LivingSocial and later ran publisher business at Quantcast.
