Overview
Isima emerged from stealth to launch BiOS, a telco-grade data convergence platform that collates business intelligence and AI-driven applications into a single environment to derive insights from real-time data. BiOS embeds SDKs within microservices, replaces third-party telemetry with a first-party tracker, and offers "replica-free" insights while using change-data-capture wrappers to ingest changes. The platform enables developers to add data sources and deploy to production in a semi-automated fashion, reducing dependence on disparate databases and easing load on relational database management systems. Early adopters include Indian online pharmacy PharmEasy, and Isima reports subscription revenue from several Fortune 500 customers. Isima was founded in 2016 by Monish Suvarna and Darshan Rawal, who previously worked at Intellectual Ventures and DataStax, respectively. The company positions itself against rivals such as Dremio, Incorta, and Quantexa in the data analytics and convergence space.
