Isis Energy is a newly formed midstream company providing logistics, transportation, storage and blending services for low-gravity crude and other heavy and light petroleum products. The company will handle residual fuel oil, asphalt and reclaimed products and provide rail and waterborne solutions across the United States and Canada. Isis will serve producers, refiners, traders and other marketers and suppliers with a focus on heavy parts of the barrel while also handling light products. The business is led by president A.J. Brass, who has more than 20 years of experience in refining, transportation, marketing and distribution and most recently served as president of Gulf Coast Asphalt Company. Isis emphasizes a “high touch” customer relationship model and aims to develop creative logistical and marketing solutions for customers. Financially, Isis announced a $150 million equity commitment from EnCap Flatrock Midstream to fund its launch and initial infrastructure activities.
