Iteria Biopharma was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Touro (A Coruña); its leadership team includes co-founders from GalChimia, Julio Castro (Palobiofarma) and CEO Ramon Bosser. The company’s lead asset is ITR-251, a novel molecule targeting metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, and it also runs two early research programs aimed at pancreatic, colorectal and lung cancers. Iteria uses unconventional medicinal chemistry approaches to discover candidates for cancers where existing therapies fail. Following the €5 million Series Seed round, the company plans to complete regulatory preclinical work and initiate a Phase 1 trial for ITR-251 in early 2027. The funding will also support identification and preclinical progression of candidates in its two other oncology programs over the next two years.
