Founded in 2003, Itineris builds software solutions for energy and water companies that help optimise business processes, support environmental objectives, and improve customer relations and end-user experience. The company operates with a staff of over 400 and maintains offices in Europe and the U.S. It reported annual turnover of €60 million in 2021, a 23% increase year-over-year. Itineris has pursued inorganic growth, acquiring Belgian data-platform firm Opinum at the end of 2021. Management says the business is focused on further European and U.S. market expansion and strategic acquisitions. The company aims to play a pioneering role in the energy and digital transition. Itineris provides the UMAX® customer information system (CIS) software to manage a utility company’s customer lifecycle and offers operational software and services for utilities. UMAX is fully integrated with Microsoft ERP platform Dynamics AX and the company is a Microsoft Gold Partner. The company has offices in Deurle, Belgium and a US presence in Marietta, GA, and employs more than 250 people worldwide. Itineris intends to use the $10m funding for product innovation and capabilities expansion, primarily in its core software. The company reported revenues of $39.8m in 2014 and has received $25m in investments to date.
