Overview
Ivalua provides a cloud-based, end-to-end procurement platform that gives procurement teams a complete digitized view of the supply chain to manage direct and indirect spend. The platform is used by over 300 companies and manages more than $500 billion in spend. This year Ivalua added AI capabilities including automated contract data capture and an integrated chat and voice assistant to speed reporting and purchasing queries. Founded in France by CEO David Khuat-Duy, the company is based in Paris and Redwood City, CA. Ivalua said it is on pace to exceed $100 million in annual revenue in 2019. The company intends to use new funding to invest in organic product innovation, continue global expansion and possibly pursue strategic acquisitions. Ivalua provides a global Spend Management Cloud and an end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform relied on by large enterprises and public sector organizations. Its platform combines a full-suite offering with configurability and flexibility that the company says enables easy vertical integration for complex, multinational needs. Ivalua reports over 250 blue-chip customers, including Honeywell, the City of New York, Veolia, Thales, Orange, Michelin, and Deutsche Telekom, and has been deployed to manage over $500 billion in spend. The product has been recognized by Gartner in its Magic Quadrant for Strategic Sourcing and by SpendMatters SolutionMap for eProcurement. Management highlights high client retention and positions the product as a strategic tool to reduce rogue spending and streamline procurement. The company says it will use the new capital to invest in and innovate its suite and accelerate its pursuit of global leadership in the spend-management market. Ivalua provides SaaS and licence-mode e-buying solutions with 22 integrated modules covering performance management, e-sourcing, e-procurement, and supplier relationship and risk management. Founded in 2000, the company serves customers including Areva, Arcelormittal, PSA, Faurecia, LVMH and Société Générale. It has 64 employees across offices in France, Germany and the United States. Ivalua received a €3M investment from AXA Private Equity intended to accelerate international growth—particularly in the United States—and to consolidate its SaaS offering for the SME market. Founder David Khuat-Duy said AXA Private Equity’s stake will boost international development and the company’s ability to offer innovative e-buying solutions via its R&D teams. The financing supports Ivalua’s expansion and product development plans within the e-buying market.
