Overview
Ivbar was founded in 2012 by Jonas Wohlin together with researchers at the Karolinska University Hospital. The Swedish company develops technological solutions and a platform that analyses areas with potential to improve outcomes and lower costs for healthcare providers. It serves governments and healthcare organisations and is preparing a commercial launch of its platform. Ivbar currently has around 20 employees and plans to recruit software developers and marketing staff to further develop and commercialize the product. The company received €5 million from Nordic fund Total Equity and will use the capital to begin commercial launch and expand into a number of countries. Total Equity, founded in 2016, focuses on investments in small and medium-sized companies with the potential to make a positive societal difference.
