The company is expanding its NBOX1 facility by 20MW; the intended total capacity for NBOX1 is 22.5MW, though the current capacity is unclear. IXAfrica's facilities are positioned to host demanding customers across internet, banking, retail, media and other enterprise sectors. The company has secured a $50m growth equity investment to accelerate the Nairobi campus development, with the funding expected to close by the end of the year subject to customary conditions and Kenyan regulatory approval.
