The company delivers an HTML5-based data discovery and visualization model rather than a developer-oriented, desktop environment. Izenda's product is used by customers including Oracle, Infor, CDC, Volvo, the US Navy and Thomson Reuters. The company raised $3M in equity financing and plans to use the proceeds to accelerate sales and marketing and to improve its suite of BI and reporting products. In conjunction with the financing the company added Mike Casey as CFO and appointed Mark Bell and Christopher Carter to its board. The raise supports Izenda’s go-to-market and product development initiatives.
