J4ENERGY provides the Energy Co-Pilot, a digital AI platform that creates a digital model of industrial energy systems and evaluates investment and daily-management actions. The tool is certified by the Solar Impulse Foundation and the company reports average reductions of over 50% in costs and emissions at industrial plants. J4ENERGY focuses on hard-to-abate emissions and is developing applications for high-temperature industrial heat, heat pumps up to 200°C, thermal storage, syngas and refrigeration technologies. The startup is led by co-founder and CEO Filippo Lazzarin and is based in Padua. J4ENERGY recently completed its initial capital raise, and intends to use proceeds to further develop the Energy Co-Pilot’s AI, expand the team, and scale its solutions across more industrial sites.
