Jaguar Animal Health develops prescription pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals for companion animals, high‑value racing animals, and food and farm animals using plant-based ingredients sourced from rainforest traditional medicines. The company holds an exclusive worldwide license from Napo Pharmaceuticals for all animal rights to products developed from Croton lechleri, plus access to Napo’s medicinal plant library and the NP-500 drug candidate. Jaguar will also receive certain manufacturing equipment and an inventory of Croton-derived products pursuant to the license. The company was founded with seed funding and resources from Napo and existing investors. Jaguar intends to use proceeds to fund studies of SP-303 (a purified pharmaceutical from Croton lechleri) and SB-300 (a standardized botanical extract/nutraceutical), complete market studies, hire personnel, establish manufacturing capabilities, and pursue regulatory activities.
