Jalon Therapeutics
27 rue Juliette Dodu, Paris, Ile-de-France, 75010, France
Overview
Jalon Therapeutics develops oncology therapies that inhibit the cellular functions of the AAC-11 protein using intracellular peptides that act as molecular decoys to block AAC-11/protein interactions and, by binding partners at the tumor cell membrane, trigger membranolysis. The company’s approach leverages the concept of non-oncogene addiction (NOA) to target stress-related protein–protein interaction networks required by tumor cells but not by normal cells. Preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies indicate efficacy across a variety of cancers. Its lead candidate, JRT39, is in advanced preclinical development. The company intends to raise capital to finance regulatory studies ahead of future phase I/II clinical trials and proof-of-clinical-concept work. Jalon was co-founded in 2021 and is based in Paris, France.
