Jam’s core product enables teams of developers and designers to collaborate on websites, leaving comments, discussing changes, and creating and assigning tasks. The platform integrates with tools such as Jira, Trello, GitHub, Slack, and Figma. Today Jam launched Jam Genies, a network of experienced product experts (investors, designers, growth hackers and more) who offer 30-minute advisory sessions for a flat $250 fee that goes to the Genie. Genies include named figures like Brianne Kimmel, Sahil Lavingia, Erik Torenberg, and others drawn from product, design, growth and investor verticals. Jam positions Jam Genies as a growth initiative to introduce early-stage startups to the platform. Since its October 2020 launch, Jam has signed up 4,000 customers on its private beta waitlist and recorded 14,000 Jam comments on the platform. The company also raised $3.5 million in October to fuel growth and further build out the product.
