James (formerly CrowdProcess) develops a Credit Risk AI and scientifically backed risk-management tools for financial institutions. The company’s solutions have been tested by over 25 financial institutions, including Tier 1 banks and alternative lenders. James is currently operating across three continents. Co-founded by Pedro Fonseca and João Menano, the firm positions its product to help institutions prepare for cyclical crises and protect reputation. The company plans to use its recent funds to expand in the U.S., where it recently hired Yvan De Munck as U.S. Head of Business Development. As part of the financing, investor Gaël de Boissard joined James’s board.
