Javelin Networks offers an all-in-one, agentless, artificial intelligence–driven platform that protects Active Directory by providing autonomous prevention, containment, threat hunting and incident response. The company says its solution immediately contains attackers after they compromise a machine, preventing use of Active Directory credentials and lateral movement. Javelin positions its product as the only agentless solution that operates outside Active Directory to provide real-time deflection and forensics. The platform targets the widespread exposure of Active Directory, which the company says is used by nine out of ten companies and is a common vector for breaches. To support product development and growth, Javelin announced a $5 million Series A financing. The company has also appointed a new COO and formed a Customer Advisory Board composed of cybersecurity veterans and CISOs to guide expansion and go-to-market efforts.
