JCB Salons India, established in 2006, operates about eighteen salons across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune and is part of a global group that runs 400 salons and spas in 20 countries. The company provides salon and spa services and reports serving roughly 1,500 clients per month. Management used the recent funding to acquire Spalon, a Southern India salon and spa brand with more than 27 locations, to accelerate expansion into South India and strengthen presence in West India. The proceeds are also earmarked to improve operational efficiency and provide working capital. Financially, operating revenue rose from Rs 34.63 crore in FY22 to Rs 50.66 crore in FY23, with profit of Rs 1 crore in FY23 versus a loss of Rs 57 lakh the prior year.
