JDoodle counts about 3,000 educational institutions among its users and is embedded in customers’ courses and recruitment workflows via plugins and APIs. The company monetizes with a freemium SaaS subscription model, earning most revenue from API and plugin solutions with standard and custom plans. JDoodle plans additional revenue streams including premium IDEs, hosting, courses, assignments and a talent marketplace. The startup aims to scale to 8 million users within 24 months and will use new funding for marketing, product development and hiring in Australia.
