Jetlore builds a platform that analyzes short, colloquial social updates to extract contextual topics and user interests. Co-founder Eldar Sadikov says the system focuses on context, not just keywords, to distinguish meanings (for example, whether 'Giants' refers to football or baseball). The platform is intended as a layer between social networks and consumer Internet companies and offers a dashboard plus an API for integration. Jetlore provides businesses with aggregate and per-user interest summaries to inform editorial decisions, personalize content recommendations, target advertising, or surface relevant social updates. The company does not collect social data itself but analyzes whatever data a given customer can access. Jetlore emerged from the SSE Labs accelerator (now StartX), maintains a consumer proof-of-concept called Qwhisper, and has raised $1.3 million in funding.
