The company plans to use new funding to continue product development and to expand sales and marketing operations. Financially, Intigua has raised a total of $21 million to date following the latest round. Intigua provides a platform that decouples the management stack from underlying infrastructure, transforming management applications into virtual containers that can be provisioned, updated, or removed across VMs. The platform integrates with hypervisor management platforms such as VMware vCenter to ensure scalable monitoring, policy-driven resource governance, and quality of service for production applications. Intigua virtualizes many widely used management solutions, including Puppet, Splunk, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, HP Operations Manager, Microsoft SCCM/SCOM, VMware Hyperic, BMC BladeLogic, Symantec NetBackup/SEP, and EMC Networker. The company positions its offering to help enterprises move confidently to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures without compromising SLAs, governance, performance, availability, or security. Intigua was the winner of the "Best of VMworld 2012 Gold Award" for New Technology. Financially, Intigua has secured an $8.6M Series A financing led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from seed investor Cedar Fund and individual investors.
