Jio Health operates a hybrid online and offline primary-care platform in Vietnam, running an app and a physical facility in Saigon with licenses for prescriptions and over-the-counter drug sales. The company offers pediatrics, primary care, chronic disease management and ancillary services, and plans to add eye care, dermatology and cancer services. Patients begin with the Jio Health app and can receive in-person visits—often within hours—so the company controls the full patient journey rather than relying on partner hospitals. Jio Health relocated from the U.S. to Vietnam and today employs about 130 staff, including roughly 70 caregivers and a 30-person tech team. It works with health insurers and is offered as a provider option by global corporations for employee care. The company closed a $5 million Series A led by Monk's Hill Ventures and plans to use the capital for geographic expansion, new care categories and marketing. Management aims to expand to Hanoi before year-end and is investigating broader Southeast Asia expansion in 2020.
