Jisto’s core product, the Elastic Workload Manager, monitors application resource usage in real time and deploys additional workloads into idle capacity to increase overall utilization. The manager grabs and yields resources dynamically to mitigate contention and allocate resources to higher‑priority applications during peaks. It enables HPC workloads such as simulation, forecasting, and genomic sequencing to run on stranded capacity within existing infrastructure without additional hardware. Jisto says utilization rates can be raised by a factor of two‑to‑three or more without impacting application or OS performance. The company will debut Elastic Workload Manager at Container World 16 in Santa Clara on February 17–18 and will use the recent funding to build out engineering, sales, and marketing.
