Jiuxian.com is a Beijing-based online alcohol retailer that operates both B2C and B2B channels. The company has built five business segments: online alcohol retail (Jiuxian.com), integrated branding services, real-time O2O services (jiukuaidao.com), creation of customized brands for online channels, and online special offers (zhongniang.com). It raised an additional 500m yuan in its seventh financing round at a 6.5 billion yuan valuation, led by Merrysunny Wealth. Jiuxian.com intends to use the funds to expand market share in the B2C field, accelerate the development of its O2O business jiukuaidao.com, and develop customized brands for online sales channels. The company had previously raised 930m yuan across its first six rounds. Led by chairman Hao Hongfeng, past investors include Sequoia Capital, Shenzhen Oriental Fortune Capital, China Renaissance and China Development Bank Capital, and the company expects to apply for a listing on China’s new OTC equities market within the next month.
