JobVidi is a social recruiting service where candidates create profiles, remain anonymous until ready, and are guaranteed a response to applications. Users sign up via LinkedIn and can add additional private information not shown on their LinkedIn profiles. The platform promises a response within 14 days and, if an employer does not reply, provides algorithmic feedback based on recruiter preferences. Candidates can also submit a 'Value Request' to discreetly test their marketability and potential financial prospects. Recruiters can post jobs from LinkedIn or Twitter (using #jobvidi) and use a matching algorithm to surface relevant candidates. The company was founded in February this year, is based in east London’s 'Tech City', has raised £100k in angel investment to date, and plans to sell paid subscriptions to recruiters once it leaves beta.
