Joyn is a mobile app and digital loyalty card that lets users discover rewards, prizes and discounts from thousands of local merchants. The platform is accessed via an app or a physical loyalty card and serves cities and municipalities. Originating from a merger of Het Opzet, Qustomer and CityLife, Joyn is led by CEO Frank Bekkers. The service is currently used by 1.6 million people in Belgium. With a €2M funding injection from existing backers ING, KBC and Mediahuis, Joyn plans to expand operations, accelerate user adoption and grow its merchant network. The company intends to more than triple merchant partners, continue product development and enter international markets.
