Overview

Jukely operates a monthly concert-subscription product called Jukely Unlimited that offers access to unlimited shows for $25 per month, focused on lesser-known bands and social matching for music fans. The service launched out of the Techstars NYC 2013 accelerator and expanded quickly from New York City to 10 U.S. cities (including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Chicago, Miami, Toronto, Seattle, Philadelphia and Denver). Subscribers attend an average of 2–3 shows per month, and Jukely reports 65% of subscribers see artists they’d never heard of before. The Unlimited product has generated additional revenue and is intended to expand the market for live music by driving attendance to shows users might not otherwise attend. To support growth, the company plans to hire marketing and engineering staff and double its current team of 15. Management intends to expand Jukely Unlimited into at least 20 more cities in the U.S. and Europe over the next year. Jukely is a NYC-based social concert discovery and recommendation service co-founded by Andrew Cornett and Bora Celik. It offers a monthly subscription that lets users attend unlimited concerts in their area for $25 per month. The service does not impose limits on the number of times subscribers can attend concerts; attendance is limited only by availability. At the time of the article it was available at 17 venues in New York, with more venues and cities being added soon. The company participated in Techstars NYC 2013. Jukely said it will use the $2.4M in funding to expand operations.
